Welcome to another edition of
JUST KICKIN’ IT!
“Just Kickin’ It!” is a reimagining of PopCultHQ‘s “Pants Optional” Kickstarter Spotlight feature, where we interview comic book creators and discuss their latest project(s) that they are bringing to the platform. With the new “Just Kickin’ It!” show title, both PopCultHQ & our official podcast – PodCultHQ – will feature these crowdfunding promotions in an additional format. The interviews will be available as a straight podcast and with a published article here at PopCultHQ. Oftentimes, a video format may be available for additional ways to view and spread the word.
Episode two of JUST KICKIN’ IT! features Dana Webb and Blair Webb. Dana is an actress, model, cosplayer, content creator, and comic book writer. Her husband, Blair, is a cartoonist, comic book artist, the creator of GHOSTMAN, and the lead Sketch monkey at Fright Night Sketches.
The married creative duo have just launched LIL ZOMBIE SQUAD – a crazy, fun comic about babies killing zombies.
The zombie outbreak has a strange effect on these babies. Instead of turning into mindless zombies, they rapidly gain intelligence and use it to take down as many of the drooling dead as possible.
It’s Garbage Pail Kids meets Night of the Living Dead. Reality is thrown out the window. If you’re looking for the hardcore horror or the superhero stuff – this isn’t it. It’s looney, it’s tongue-in-cheek humor, and packed with sarcasm; much like the creator, Dana Webb. Both she & her partner-in-crime, Blair have created something special.
So sit back, chill, and hear from these two creators about their project!
