[Podcast] PodCultHQ’s FROM THE VAULT Ep. 1: Interview w/ Susan Beneville & Brian Hess of NIX

Welcome to FROM THE VAULT.

This new podcast series from PodCultHQ features previously never-before-heard interviews, as well as past video interviews, with comic creators and giving them the spotlight in audio format! So get ready as we revisit some of PopCultHQ‘s conversations with talented people in the industry!

Episode one of FROM THE VAULT consists of a “Pants Optional” feature, our interview feature over Zoom which launched in 2020 due to the pandemic. In this debut episode, listen to my conversation with two of my favorite people in the comic book industry, Susan Beneville and Brian Hess. We talk comic shops, conventions, their Action Lab series AWAKE, and we discuss their collaboration on NIX, an all-ages, sci-fi/fantasy adventure published by Red 5 Comics.
