As the CW has been adding DC superhero shows to its roster, it has been doing crossovers starting with the  Season 2 episode of Arrow that introduced us to Barry Allen before he was “the fastest man alive.” Season 2 of The Flash brought a crossover with Arrow that kicked off the Legends of Tomorrow story of Vandal Savage. Season 1 of Supergirl saw the “Girl of Steel” meet The Flash when he crossed over to her world in “World’s Finest”. Last season brought us two crossovers – one between all four shows that saw the heroes taking on The Dominators, and a musical crossover between Supergirl and The Flash.

This year is no exception, and the big crossover event will soon be upon us beginning November 27. We previously shared with you how The CW will be making it a two-night event of two-hour “movies” connected to a larger story.  But what brings our heroes all together in the first place? That would be the wedding of The Flash‘s Iris West and Barry Allen! As in any good story, events quickly go awry. The title for this year’s event has been dubbed “Crisis on Earth-X.”

Supergirl is where the story will begin, and we have promo photos of the episode for you to view below.

“Crisis on Earth X, Part 1” — (8:00-9:00 p.m. ET)

THE EPIC FOUR-WAY CROSSOVER WITH “ARROW,” “SUPERGIRL,” “THE FLASH” AND “DC’S LEGENDS OF TOMORROW” BEGINS — Barry (guest star Grant Gustin) and Iris’s (guest star Candice Patton) wedding brings the gang together, but things go awry when villains from Earth-X attack the ceremony. All of the superheroes band together with help from their super friends like Citizen Cold (guest star Wentworth Miller), The Ray (guest star Russell Tovey), Felicity Smoak (guest star Emily Bett Rickards), Iris West and Alex Danvers (Chyler Leigh) to take on their most formidable villains yet. Earth’s mightiest heroes – Green Arrow (guest star Stephen Amell), Supergirl (Melissa Benoist), The Flash (guest star Grant Gustin) and White Canary (guest star Caity Lotz) – lead their teams into battle to save the world. Larry Teng directed the episode with story by Andrew Kreisberg & Marc Guggenheim and teleplay by Robert Rovner & Jessica Queller (#308).  Original airdate 11/27/2017.
