“I am Diana of Themyscira.” Yes you are. On Saturday’s Nickelodeon’s Kids’ Choice Awards, fans across the globe were treated to the latest, and most revealing trailer to date for the upcoming Wonder Woman feature film.
It began on Friday, March 10th with a tweet to the Twitterverse following the release of the of the newest #WonderWoman poster that day…

Though cryptic at first, the official Wonder Woman Twitter page, as well as director Patty Jenkins, joined star Gal Gadot in hyping-up fans for Saturday evening’s debut…

Following Gadot and co-star Chris Pine’s appearance Saturday night on the KCA’s, we were shown 2 1/2 minutes of the Amazonians origin; as a child learning her purpose, a young girl being trained and taught by her warrior aunt (Robin Wright), to understanding her powers, ability, and destiny.

Before she was Wonder Woman, she was Diana, princess of the Amazons, trained to be an unconquerable warrior. Raised on a sheltered island paradise, when an American pilot crashes on their shores and tells of a massive conflict raging in the outside world, Diana leaves her home, convinced she can stop the threat. Fighting alongside man in a war to end all wars, Diana will discover her full powers…and her true destiny.
From Warner Bros. Pictures and DC Entertainment comes the epic action adventure starring Gal Gadot, Chris Pine, Connie Nielsen and Robin Wright, directed by Patty Jenkins.
Wonder Woman will arrive in theaters June 2, 2017.
