New Bigger Facility

NWI started in 2014 in Schererville, IN where they quickly outgrew the facility and in 2022 they moved over to Crown Point, In. The new facility is bigger, brighter and has a ton of parking.

There will find a slew of local and national venders and artisans each with a unique offering. A few of the artists in this years lineup include Alexandria Monik, Mike Norton and Tim Seeley. There are over 100 exhibitors with everything for sale from collectables to homemade goodies.

On stage there will be a variety of panels, interviews, contests and the cosplay contests. Be sure to check out the silent auction to benefit the Northwest Indiana Cancer Kids and Treasured Friends Animal Rescue. In the past NWI has raised over $10,000 for N.I.C.K. Northwest Indiana Cancer, this year they have added Treasured Friends Animal Rescue to their charitable groups.

This is always a fun event where friends catch up, you pick up a few new art pieces and maybe add to your collectibles. The prices are good and the company great. Come on down and visit this one day event, you won’t be disappointed.

The NWI Comic-Con will take place from 11 a.m. to 5 p.m. on Feb. 10 in the Industrial Building at the Lake County Fairgrounds at 889 S. Court Street. Tickets are $12 at the door. For more information, visit www.nwi-comic-con.com or go to facebook.com/nwicomiccon.
