New Fantastic Four movie poster shows team’s powers for first time.

I personally still don’t have any high hopes for “Fantastic Four” movie as I’ve reported on several other blogs I’ve writen for other sites. With the plotline being revealed that Fox Studio’s version of the Marvel comic book franchise, The Fantastic Four, was vastly different from the comics and being basically recreated for this reboot film. It has already left a bitter taste in longtime F4 comic book fans with reports of a ‘hacker’ Dr. Doom, maybe without a doom helmet and a shift to the Storm family dynamic! Then the reports from Michael B. Jordan himself stating that the movie was not going to have those “cheesy superhero costumes.”

Back in October of last year, Michael B. Jordan, who plays Johnny Storm, told ABC News that the film headed for a rather “new look” with what was described as “containment suits.” So far, all the images that 20th Century Fox has released seem to suggest an all-black design with cables and tanks attached. Though according to Miles Teller, that’s not going to be the team’s final look. That would suggest to me that the costumed real look of the Fantastic Four won’t be shown till the very end of the film……LAME!!!

“It would be very odd if the Fantastic Four didn’t don the traditional costumes,” he told ScreenCrush recently. “You’ve got to. There is some servicing there. You’ve got to give that to the fans. That’s what it’s all about.” – Miles Teller

“There’s the opportunity to make something that is challenging and tragic and dramatic. The opportunity is right there in the material. We’d rather steer it in that direction as opposed to just embracing a tone that comes right off the page.” – Director Josh Trank told Empire

Miles Teller, Kate Mara and Jamie Bell will join Michael B. Jordan (Johnny Storm/Human Torch) in F4 to play Sue Storm/The Invisible Woman, Ben Grimm/The Thing, Reed Richards/Mr. Fantastic

“The Fantastic Four” is slated to be in theaters in June, 2015.
