We’re well into the month of October, which means plenty of creepy and scary movies are making their way into the lineup on weekly releases. This week’s new movies include two animated films, and film based on the true story of the last trial by combat, the latest film in the Halloween saga, and much more!

Bergman Island (R)

A couple retreat to the island that inspired Ingmar Bergman to write screenplays for their upcoming films when the lines between reality and fiction start to blur.
