Movie News: In Theaters This Week – July 4, 2025

This Friday marks Independence Day here in the US, which means this week’s releases are coming out a little early so everyone has more time to enjoy them. This week’s new releases include a thriller about a post-apocalyptic world where a family of black farmers fight to preserve their homestead against cannibals trying to steal their resources, and a new Jurassic World film in which researchers attempt to extract DNA from three massive prehistoric predators for the sake of a groundbreaking medical breakthrough.
