The first few weeks of the new year had a bit of a slow start in the realm of movie releases, but it seems like things are starting to pick up a little this week, with more than a few new films coming out. This week’s releases include a Cantonese film about a man loses everything for a crime he did not commit and vows to travel far into the past and reclaim everything he has lost by usurping the throne, a drama about a modern day gangster in Chicago who is inspired by the incredible story of repentance of a 4th century saint, an animated film about a young meerkat who must team up with a bush pig to find a flower that can heal his grandfather that was bitten by a snake, and much more!
