Movie News: In Theaters This Week – December 12, 2025

There aren’t any particularly Christmas-themed films being released this weekend, but there’s still quite a selection of new films coming out. This week’s new releases include a film in which an eight-year-old girl asks her neighbor for help in killing the monster under her bed that she thinks ate her family, a drama about an idealistic young woman juggling her life and family, a thriller about what happens when a boat capsizes off the coast of Mexico and a group of friends must struggle for survival, and much more!
