[Movie News] In Theaters This Week – August 28, 2020

In Theaters 3.6.20

Many theaters are still not open in the US. Some have had to close again due to health restrictions being put back in place or simply due to a lack of people coming in. While many big-name movies are pushing their release dates back even further, or choosing to premiere overseas first, a number of movies are still determined to make their way to theaters.

There are three new releases this week – including the much-delayed New Mutants film. It was wondered if the film would ever see the light of day, especially after the current pandemic hit, but it seems to be reality that those willing to go to cinemas will be able to finally see the 20th Century Fox production. Also out this weekend is a retelling of the Dickens classic David Copperfield, and a film about three Portuguese youths who claim to have seen the Virgin Mary.
