There are a lot of rumors surrounding the Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D. TV show regarding spinoffs; until now there hasn’t been much hard information.
Now we have a truly interesting piece of news regarding the upcoming Marvel TV spinoff of Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D. According to the Hollywood Reporter the spinoff will star our two newest favorites, Mockingbird (Adrianne Palicki) and Lance Hunter (Nick Blood). Considering how much the last few episodes have been focusing on them, my guess is that the season finale of Agents will have them separating from Coulson and his SHIELD group.
We don’t have much more than that, but we do know that executive producer Jeffrey Bell and writer Paul Zbyszewski are teaming on the project and that they have told us the new spinoff will not get a pilot episode in the current season of “SHIELD,” but it will still have tie-ins. So that means we can probably expect to see a pilot episode sometime in the near future.
Could this be where the whole Nick Fury’s toolbox is leading us?
