MEGACON Orlando ran Thursday, February 1 through Sunday, February 4. This huge event draws big name celebrities, artists and exhibitors from all realms of fandom. Cosplay, anime, film, comics, art, and more are all on display in this annual pop-culture festival.
This is billed as one of the largest conventions in the southeast U.S. , however after this weekends numbers it may be THE largest. This weekend pulled in over 190,000 attendees. Those numbers perhaps rival even New York Comic Con.

Ratings:
Our new thing for 2024 is to ask our readers to take a poll on some basic components of the con. We want to know how you rate the parking, the vendors and the food. The poll closes after 30 days and we will use this as a baseline for next years convention. We hope to eventually have a rating system set up for many of the conventions.

Overall, there was a LOT going on in Orlando this weekend. MEGACON was held at the Orange County Convention Center, CattleCon was also held at the Orange county Convention Center. Then in downtown Orlando you had the Olympic Team Trial Marathon while the NFL Pro Bowl was held at Camping World Stadium. This is all on top of the normal tourist stuff happening in Orlando.
