LA Comic Con: Action Lab to Debut Exclusives & Partners w/ Upcoming Film ‘TAR’

TO PARTNER WITH HOWLING WOLF PRODUCTIONS AND SHOWCASE NEW COMIC TITLES AT
STAN LEE’S LOS ANGELES COMIC CON

Action Lab, one of the top publishers of comic books and graphic novels, showcases their newest titles at Stan Lee’s Los Angeles Comic Con October 28th – 30th at the Staples Center.

“We are very excited to be a part of Stan Lee’s LA Comic Con and introduce our newest tiles,” said Bryan Seaton, CEO and Publisher. We have many creators signing at our booth #1209 and two of our titles Miraculous and TAR have very exciting panels with never seen before sneak peeks planned for the show.”

Some of Action Lab’s newest titles are Miraculous Ladybug (based on the hit children’s television series on Nickelodeon), brand new “Pop Horror” title Dollface, that has already generated tremendous industry excitement and the cast preview of the new horror thriller, TAR from Howling Wolf Productions based on the feature film to be released theatrically in 2017.

“We are thrilled to partner with Action Lab for TAR,” said Aaron Wolf of Howling Wolf Productions. “The expansive world of our newest feature film based on the secrets of the Los Angeles’s La Brea Tar Pits, will produce sensational comic books with Action Lab an industry leader. Bryan Seaton
Bryan Seaton is the co-creator, co-writer and editor of Dollface. A true renaissance man, he’s served as a Production Manager, Editor, Designer and Publisher. Currently he works as the CEO and Publisher of Action Lab Entertainment making the best comics on the market.

Gayle Middleton
Gayle Middleton is the author/creator of the adorable Vamplets comics. She is a Hasbro Toy Designer who redesigned the world look of the My Little Pony line for their relaunch in 2004 and styled the entire line of Littlest Pet Shop toys that relaunched in 2006.

Dan Mendoza
Dan Mendoza has been working in animation and producing comics for nearly a decade, creating the runaway hit series, Zombie Tramp under the Action Lab: Danger Zone label. A lifelong fan of horror comics and grindhouse films, Dan lends his skills as the co-writer and artist of Dollface.

Aaron Wolf
Director, actor and writer based in Los Angeles. An honors graduate from the Tisch School of the Arts at New York University and writer and star of pilots for Warner Brothers and Disney among others, he is the original founder of Howling Wolf Productions. Aaron’s narrative films include the award-winning “Guest House,” starring Michael Gross and Heather Lind, and “The Walk,” in which Wolf co-starred with Oscar- and Emmy-nominee Peter Riegert. Wolf’s feature, Restoring Tomorrow, which documents a four-year $150-million restoration project for the Wilshire Boulevard Temple as well as his own personal restoration, is set to premiere at theaters around the country in the coming months. Wolf is the director and co-star of the new thriller TAR.

Nick Marino
Nick Marino is the writer of Holy F*ck. Sister Maria recruits Jesus and Satan, two horny drug-fueled weirdos, to stop the apocalypse. He is also the writer of the upcoming Cougar & Cub, which answers the age-old question: what happens when a superhero sleeps with their sidekick?

David Pepose
David Pepose has worked at numerous entertainment companies around the country, including CBS, Netflix, Universal Studios and DC Comics. He is currently writing Spencer & Locke, aka Calvin & Hobbes meets Sin City.
