As you prepare to wear your favorite cosplay, join your con-family, and immerse yourself in the magic of Dragon Con, consider becoming a true hero and joining the Robert A. Heinlein “Pay It Forward” Blood Drive. This is a long-standing Dragon Con tradition and has become a core part of the Dragon Con experience,

A Legacy of Lifesaving
For over two decades, the Dragon Con blood drive, sponsored by The Heinlein Society and run by LifeSouth Community Blood Centers, has been one of the largest convention-based blood drives in the country. This is a testament to the generosity of the Dragon Con community. Collectively you have saved thousands of lives. The blood collected at this event is crucial, serving hospitals across the Southeast and helping to meet a constant, critical need.
On Thursday they had over 900 donors, lets see if it can be more than double that the rest of the weekend.

Contribute to a Legacy
The drive is named after the legendary science fiction author Robert A. Heinlein, who championed the idea of “paying it forward.” This is your chance to honor that legacy and create a chain reaction of good will. Join thousands of others as they donate blood to a worthy cause and keep this legacy going.
