Your First Look at GARFIELD #1

This first furry foray into Garfield’s world adds another layer to the
proverbial lasagna featuring not just one feline tale, but two tantalizing stories! 

This past Friday, BOOM! Studios revealed a first look at GARFIELD #1, the first issue in a new four-issue series about everyone’s favorite cat! Ryan Estrada (I Climbed Kilimanjaro) and Sarah Graley (Kim Reaper, Minecraft) pen two short stories in the first issue, joined by artist Axur Eneas (Princeless) and letterer Stef Purenins (Our Super Adventure), to bring Garfield to life of this can’t miss tie-in to The Garfield Movie from Alcon Entertainment, available in August 2024.

Alcon Entertainment’s animated presentation of The Garfield Movie debuted worldwide via Sony Pictures in May 2024. The movie stars Chris Pratt as Garfield and Samuel L. Jackson as a brand-new character, Vic, Garfield’s father.

Fans of the feline with a ferocious appetite don’t just have The Garfield Movie to celebrate, but the first furry foray in a new 4-issue tie-in series!

And to add yet another layer to the lasagna, this first issue features not just one story, but plenty of hilarious material for seconds…


GARFIELD is the latest release from BOOM! Issue #2 will be available on September 11, 2024; Issue #3 on October 9, 2024; and Issue #4 on November 13, 2024.
