Last week we shared the first look on Zazie Beetz as Domino, and now it’s Josh Brolin‘s turn to debut his new look as Cable. Back in May, we shared some photos of the actor working out to get in shape to play the mutant, and it seems like his hard work has paid off.
Ryan Reynolds once again shared the photos of his Deadpool 2 co-star on Facebook and Twitter. He shared two photos this time, the first a full-length body shot of the character and the caption, “Oh… Hello #Cable.” The second is a close-up of the character with one finger to his lips, reading, “We all have that one, grumpy, heavily armed Uncle from the future. #PremiumCable #MaximumAsshole.”
Brolin looks every inch the time-traveling warrior, from the large gun to the cybernetic arm and eye, as well as the scars around one eye. While no details about his role in Deadpool 2 has been made known yet, it is has been speculated that his character will start as an antagonist towards Deadpool, then they will ultimately team up.
Deadpool 2 is due to be released June 1, 2018.
