It’s that time again… FREE COMICS!!! 2016 celebrates FCBD’s 15th year running offering free comics from a number of publishers. Held on the first Saturday of every May, this year’s falls on Sat., May 7th, and is held at a number of comic book retailers across the country. What is also great is that the stores which participate in FCBD generally have store-wide sales too!It’s a big day for businesses and for consumers. Everybody wins!
This year has some great titles being offered. Suicide Squad, Valiant 4001 A.D., Civil War II, Doctor Who, Serenity, ROM, Lady Mechanika, and We Can Never Go Home/Young Terrorists, are just a number of the great titles being made available. Also some incredible indie publishers are putting out incredible material and now is your chance to find out why on titles like Awake, Grumpy Cat, Spectrum (from Firefly alum Alan Tudyk and Nathan Fillion), the Devil’s Due/1First Comics Mixtape, 2000 A.D., Archie, and Camp Midnight.
