A fan made a video featuring Star Wars‘ lovable scamp Han Solo and the results are pretty remarkable. YouTube user r3ndos pieced together various scenes from the original Star Wars trilogy and a few clips from Star Wars: The Force Awakens to show the evolution of Han Solo.
Starting with A New Hope, our first meeting of the rogue smuggler shows a cynical, loner, pirate who only looks out for himself and his best interests. In The Empire Strikes Back, we see Han softening his his outlawish demeanor and begin to come to terms with being a part of the Rebel Alliance. Return of the Jedi reveals the next progression of his character as he has become a general in the Rebellion and leads the assault team on the Battle of Endor. Finally, we see Harrison Ford pass the torch to the new cast and, well you know the rest.

An untitled Han Solo Anthology film will be an upcoming film in the Star Wars Anthology Series. The film is centered on a young Han Solo as he becomes the smuggler audiences first met in Star Wars: A New Hope, set approximately 10 years prior to the film. It has been described as an origin story for both Han and his wookiee co-pilot Chewbacca. It will be directed by Christopher Miller and Phil Lord and written by Lawrence Kasdan and Jon Kasdan. The film is scheduled to be released on May 25, 2018.
