The weekend of June 25th was the Dupage Mighty Con at the Dupage County Fairgrounds. This is a fantastic small con that has the look and feel of the original comic conventions. It’s friendly, cozy and has some fantastic deals.
Mighty Con does conventions the way they should be, with a focus on comics and art. They aren’t concerned about how many autograph tickets they can sell.
This convention has the perfect mix of artists and comic sellers with a few crafters, writers and other vendors thrown in. Then for entertainment they had a gaming tournament, a few panels and the costume contests.
I love going to this convention.
