Outrider, the spaceship piloted by Dash Rendar in Star Wars: Shadows of the Empire video game, has been approved to be a part of the Star Wars canon. This is great news for fans of the game and films. For the Special Edition release of the original trilogy, the Outrider was added to the background of Mos Eisley in Episode IV: A New Hope.
Not too long back Disney took a closer look at the canon of the Star Wars franchise. It will now include the six theatrical films, the Clone Wars and Rebels‘ series, new properties that were announced after the LucasFilm acquisition, and a few other various oddities. There has been no confirmation as to whether Dash will be included as well.
