Wasteland Weekend is an annual post-apocalyptic music & arts festival held in Edwards, California. This is the world of Mad Max, Fallout, and every other post-apocalyptic desert scenario you can think of.
This is a fully immersive five-day event, where costumes are required and post-apocalyptic campsites and vehicles are encouraged. This is the chance to live for five days in a world pulled straight out of the Mad Max movies and other post-apocalyptic films and games, beyond the grip of so-called civilization.
It has been held annually in September since 2010, except for 2020, when the event was cancelled due to the COVID-19 pandemic.
