SarasotaCon is a smaller convention that happens every few months in Sarasota, Florida. Their most recent one-day show was on April 29th and the next event will be held on August 12th.
This convention is a great showcase for local artists, vendors, and celebrities. Last week’s event had Berserker Blothar, the lead vocalist from the heavy metal band Gwar. Guests included Marvel Artist Tom DeFalco and Sailor Moon voice actress Jennifer Cihi. Events included a cosplay costume contest and a video game tournament.
