Phoenix Fan Fusion is a family-friendly event where fans, geeks, creators, nerds, artists, entertainers, cosplayers, fans, and friends converge to share their passions. The event ran June 2-4 at the Phoenix Convention Center.
This event was originally started in June 2002 as a one-day event called the Phoenix Cactus Comicon. It has now grown to a multi-day event featuring hundreds of big names and thousands of attendees.
Guests this year included Jeremy Renner (Marvel’s Hawkeye), Hocus Pocus actresses Mary Sanderson and Kathy Najimy, and the Weasley Twins, James & Oliver Phelps from the Harry Potter franchise. If screen actors weren’t your thing, you had plenty of opportunities to also visit voice actors, comic creators, local artists, tabletop games, and epic cosplayers. You could also shop at several hundred vendors that carried everything from Funko Pops to t-shirts and everything in-between.
