OMG!Con is an annual three-day anime and gaming convention held at the Owensboro Convention Center in Owensboro, Kentucky. The convention started in June 2006 and has continued to grow.
Special guests included voice actor Greg Ayres, as well as the Sailor Moon singer Jennifer Cihi and Invader Zim voice actor Rikki Simons. Other guests included cosplayers, Youtubers, artists, and writers.
This is a fun, popular convention that is well-run. Unlike most conventions, I did not find any real complaints. It seems that the staff are friendly and the location is easy access with lots of parking. I didn’t even find complaints about food or ticket prices. Most planned events went off without a hitch. The biggest issue I saw was some technical issues prior to the dance party, causing it to be delayed. There were also a few people that would have liked to see the schedule posted online and not just in the app.
