The weekend of February 17-19th was a busy one for conventions. This year was the 28th anniversary for Gallifrey One at the Marriott Airport in Los Angeles. They had 3,868 attendees, 81 guests and raised $18,305 for the Denville Hall charity on behalf of the delightful Lalla Ward.
This massive Doctor Who convention is so popular that if you don’t buy tickets in advance, you can’t get them. Tickets sold out and there are no door sales. Next year’s event, The 29 Voyages of Gallifrey One will be February 16-18, with tickets going on sale in April.
