Bartow Con 2024 was held on August 3rd at the Bartow Civic Center. This was a lively family-friendly event celebrating comics, collectibles, and pop culture.
This year had a few notable guests. The guest list included Vic Mignogna, best known for for his role as Edward Elric in “Fullmetal Alchemist.” Actor Jack O’Halloran from “Superman” (1978) and “King Kong” (1976) was also a featured guest. Other guests included Melanie Kohn of “Peanuts” fame and stuntman John Carmichael.
This one-day show featured everything the big ones do without all the hassle. There were vendor booths, autographs, panels, and cosplay events. This is a great, little convention that hopefully keeps going for years to come.
