Thanksgiving weekend in Lombard, IL traditionally sees an invasion of blue boxes, long scarves, British accents, and Daleks. This is the traditional weekend for Chicago Tardis, a Doctor Who-themed event that has been running since 2010.
Due to the current pandemic, attendance was lower than normal, but that didn’t stop the Time Lord fans. Celebrities at this event included Colin Baker (the sixth Doctor), Frazer Hines (Jamie McCrimmon), Neve McIntosh (Madame Vastra), Terry Molloy (Davros), and several other names from the Doctor Who universe.
