What:

Dallas Fan Days is one of the best comics, sci-fi, horror, anime and gaming events in Texas, filled with exciting family-friendly activities, celebrity and comic guests, and much more! The pop culture extravaganza is host to tens of thousands of fans at the Irving Convention Center for the three-day event this fall. Dallas Fan Days is a full schedule packed with panels from celebrities, voice actors, anime superstars, comic book creators, cosplayers, internet celebrities and sci-fi, fantasy, horror, gaming personalities, cosplay contests, gaming and more. Photography and autograph opportunities are available.

Dallas Fan Days is produced by Fan Expo HQ, one of the largest entertainment and convention groups in North America. Collectively it hosts over 500,000 fans annually at Fan Expo Dallas, Fan Expo Canada, Fan Expo Boston, Fan Expo Vancouver, Toronto Comicon, Calgary Expo, Megacon Orlando, Dallas Fan Days, Edmonton Expo, Fan Expo Regina and Megacon Tampa Bay.

The current 2018 Dallas Fan Days celebrity lineup includes:

Matt Smith – “Doctor Who”

Matthew Robert Smith is an English film, television and stage actor. He is best known for his role as the 11th incarnation of The Doctor in the BBC series “Doctor Who.” In June 2015, Smith was cast to portray Prince Philip, Duke of Edinburgh, in the Netflix royal drama “The Crown.” Smith played the role for the series’ first two seasons, as the role will be recast every two seasons.

Jennifer Morrison – “Once Upon a Time” and “House”

Jennifer Marie Morrison is an American actress, producer and former child model. She is known for her roles as Dr. Allison Cameron in the medical-drama series “House” and Emma Swan in the ABC adventure-fantasy series “Once Upon a Time.” She also portrayed Zoey Pierson, one of Ted Mosby’s love interests on the comedy series “How I Met Your Mother”; Winona Kirk, mother of James T. Kirk in the 2009 science-fiction film “Star Trek”; and Tess Conlon in the 2011 sports drama film “Warrior.”

Ray Park – “Star Wars”

Born in Glasgow, Scotland, UK, Ray Park is a British actor, gymnast and martial artist. He is best known for his role of evil Sith Lord Darth Mau in “Star Wars: Episode 1 – The Phantom Menace.” Ray Park is also known for his portrayals of Fighting Headless Horseman in Tim Burton’s dark adaption “Sleepy Hollow,” Toad in “X-Men,” Snake Eyes in “G.I. Joe: Retaliation” and “G.I. Joe: The Rise of Cobra,” Edgar in “Heroes” and many other roles.

Karl Urban – “Star Trek”

Karl-Heinz Urban is a New Zealand actor. He has played Julius Caesar and Cupid in “Xena: Warrior Princess” and “Hercules: The Legendary Journeys,” Éomer in the second and third installments of Peter Jackson’s “The Lord of the Rings” trilogy, Munder in “Ghost Ship,” Kirill in “The Bourne Supremacy,” Black Hat in “Priest,” John Grimm in “Doom,” William Cooper in “Red,” Gavin in “Pete’s Dragon,” Vincent in “The Loft,” Vaako in the second and third installments of the Riddick film series, Dr. Leonard “Bones” McCoy in “Star Trek,” “Star Trek Into Darkness” and “Star Trek Beyond,” and Judge Dredd in “Dredd.” He won acclaim for his performances in the New Zealand films “The Price of Milk” and “Out of the Blue.” He also played the main character John Kennex in the short-lived television series “Almost Human.” He plays Skurge in the 2017 Marvel Studios film “Thor: Ragnarok.”

Breckin Meyer – “Robot Chicken”

Breckin Meyer is an American actor, voice actor, writer, producer and drummer. He earned an Emmy Award for his writing on the television episode “Robot Chicken: Star Wars.” He is also known for roles in films such as “Clueless,” “Road Trip,” “Rat Race,” “Kate and Leopold” and the “Garfield” film series. Breckin Meyer has also found success as a voice actor on shows like “Titan Maximum,” “King of the Hill,” “Robot Chicken” and “Franklin & Bash.”
