While this is what most people will base the movie on, I don’t. There are two other great Avengers vs. Ultron storylines that are must reads before this one. As good as Brain M. Bendis and Bryan Hitch are……you have to read the original Ultron story. Avengers 2, the movie, is truly based on around Avengers Vol. 1 #54- #58 with the birth of Vision.

Hawkeye Vol. 1: My Life As A Weapon

Clint Barton at his absolute finest. The smart-ass Avenger with a bulls-eye aim is written at his best in this fantastic read of a comic book. Matt Fraction has done things with Hawkeye here that have never been seen or thought of and the great layouts in art and storytelling are at an all time comic book best here. This one is absolutely on my top recommended list!
