PopCultHQ’s Comic Book Review:
Dry County #2
Writing:
Rich’s writing always starts to take very exciting turns by the second issue of any series. That is most certainly true of issue #2 here. While the plot is layered out in the previous book, within these pages it all starts building in intensity. It’s almost as if he knows just what buttons to push in order to kick-off while further heightening tension and keep readers locked in.
Art:
One thing that is always fun with any work of Rich is the artwork. It is beautiful to look at, detailed and very eye-catching. He does a top-notch job of bringing a somewhat gritty but vibrant 90’s Florida to life in his own unique way. There’s a crazy journey ahead for his hero and the scenery along the way is one of the many reasons to keep reading.
PopCultHQ’s overall assessment:
There is nothing quite like a Rich Tommaso comic. Every time a new issue comes out, it only adds to the overall fabulousness of the previous one. People who are either devoted Rich readers or newcomers will get a real kick out of the latest issue and the first one as well.
PopCultHQ’s Rating:
5 Out of 5 Stars
