RELEASING COMICS AS NFT ART
NFTs are taking the collector’s world by storm. A La Brava, the first Latina superhero team in history, is taking the comic world by storm. These forces are now colliding.
Two years ago, creator Kayden Phoenix emerged with an all-Latina team for her Latina superhero graphic novels. With 4 of the 6 origin story books out (RUCA is on preorder), their traction is ramping up. Starting with being invited guests to comic cons and speaking on comic con panels, to having producers interested in the IP film/tv rights; Phoenix is on track to her goal of having A La Brava on the big screen.

The merge of comic book art with NFTs is simple and effective. Phoenix will have monthly “book” releases of each superhero as well as artist collaboration pieces (Super Emo Friends, etc) as NFT collectable art (1 of 1’s).
JALISCO, a blade-wielding folklorico dancer that uses her culture as her weapon and takes down the femicide in Mexico. SANTA, a brawler that takes down the ICE detention centers. LOQUITA, a teen detective in the supernatural world. RUCA, a vigilante serving justice. BANDITA, the gunslinger in modern day New York. A LA BRAVA, the team’s origin story saving feminism.

Phoenix’s mission is to create a superhero mindset for all marginalized individuals, particularly Latine. Support from national news sources like LA Times, Disney/ABC Eyewitness News 7, Spectrum News 1, and international Spanish stations, Univision and Telemundo, have broadcasted Phoenix’s comics echoing the importance of her work.
These Latina superheroes that empower and invigorate will be up for grabs starting January 1st on OpenSea as original, certified pieces of comic book history.
