Legendary Entertainment, has recently acquired the global film rights to AfterShock Comics‘ breakout series ANIMOSITY. First released in August 2016 by writer Marguerite Bennett (InSexts, DC’s Bombshells) and illustrator Rafael De Latorre (SuperZero), the apocalyptic tale featuring animals gaining the ability to speak became an immediate hit for the publisher and continued as one of their top titles.

One day, the Animals woke up.
They started thinking.

They started taking revenge.
Now, a dog and his girl are trying to get away–out of New York City, and all the way to San Francisco, to the only person who might be able to protect and save her.
With such a recent announcement, no information regarding development has been released or possibly even established as of yet. We do know that AfterShock Media’s president Lee Kramer and CEO Jon Kramer will produce the feature and Legendary’s Jon Silk will oversee the project.
