Calling all cosplayers, I have found a treasure trove of patterns. The Vintage Patterns Wikia has a cornucopia of vintage patterns that are out of print. Everything in there is 25 years or older.
If you are doing a particular movie or classic actor or actress, then you have a pretty good chance that you can find the pattern in the “Movie Stars” category. You can find outfits based off some of your favorite icon roles such as Marilyn Monroe and Lucille Ball.
Many of you may know about this treasure trove, but to me it was a find.
You can even find amazing vintage costume patterns, that are a great start for a lot of cosplays.
