The booth operated by China-based Changzhou First International Trade Co. had their one-wheeled hoverboard/skateboard/scooters seized, boxed up, and had their booth disassembled by the Marshals.  According to American firm Future Motion, the models on display at Changzhou’s booth were complete knock-offs of a design they had trademarked.  Following proper protocol, Future Motion contacted the federal court in Las Vegas, which then had a brief hearing by phone to discuss the matter, ultimately leading to the raid.  Future Motion’s Onewheel scooter was introduced two years ago at CES and currently sells it online for $1,499.  Changzhou’s scooter was being sold through online retailer Alibaba for about 1/3 of the price.
