2024 marks the ninth year that Tampa Bay Screams has brought blood curdling terror to Florida. It has cemented itself as one of the longest-running and most popular horror convention in PInellas Park. The event is a haven for fans of grindhouse, drive-in, arthouse, cult classics, and midnight movie cinema and pop culture.
The event ran June 28th and 29th and brought in celebrities, directors, and special effects artists from across the horror genre. Attendees had the opportunity to get autographs, take photos, and participate in Q&A sessions.
Tampa Bay Screams is not just a convention; it also hosts a film festival. Filmmakers shared their horror, sci-fi, and thriller movies at the event. The film festival included screenings, distribution representatives, publicity opportunities, and awards, making it a great platform for aspiring and established filmmakers alike.

One of our favorite photographers, Leo Nocedo of the Nocedo Photo Media Group was on site at this great event and generously shared some of their photos with us. There weren’t many cosplayers, but they got some great shots of the even itself. Head over to their Flickr album so see the rest.
