As we near ever closer to the release of Captain America: Civil War, the merchandising and marketing for the sure-to-be epic film is through the roof. IMAX, who is heavily promoting the Marvel Studios film, will be giving away special collectible posters.
The posters were revealed via the official IMAX twitter account this week. The three posters feature Team Cap on one side, Team Iron Man on the opposite, with the sandwiched poster features Black Widow prominently (not only with her in the foreground, but also her widow symbol about the Civil War title).
IMAX announce that for three consecutive weeks they will be distributing these collectibles for those in attendance at AMC theaters on IMAX screens. One each will be given on the first three Sundays in May following its release: May 8, May 15, and May 22.
Not to be outdone, beginning Thursday, May 5, Regal Cinemas is giving IMAX ticketholders an exclusive collectible ticket. Similar to the posters from AMC, these tickets will given during three consecutive weeks: May 5, May 14, and May 21. All three will also be interlocking to create one large image.
Save the dates and hopefully you can collect a set of one or both. Captain America:Civil War hits theaters on May 6 with late night showings on May 5.
