The original generations of geeks and nerds have grown up, but they haven’t lost their love love of comics, games and cartoons which means that they are bringing up a whole new generation to follow in their footsteps. It doesn’t hurt that the current movie trend is also bringing a lot of converts to the fold.
I love seeing the children at these conventions, I love the shock and awe when they see their favorite characters brought to life, even more fun for them when they too can dress as their favorite.
