Set in 2019 San Francisco, this science-fiction murder mystery meanders down paths that seem totally irrelevant to the big picture, until the end. Despite the apparent wandering, this page-turning novel had me entranced from cover to cover.
Robert Buettner’s descriptions of San Francisco – the traffic and the people – bring memories back to everyone that has been there. You get just enough character building to feel for them, without having to learn about every childhoold trauma. It’s a great mix that makes it an easy and enjoyable read.
The Golden Gate by Robert Buettner is a well-written entertaining piece tp which I give four stars out of five.
