Anime Festival Orlando (AFO) 2024 ran from June 28 to June 30, 2024. AFO held it’s 24th year at the Rosen Plaza Hotel in Orlando, FL.
The convention featured a wide array of activities including panel discussions, cosplay contests, artist alley, dealer’s room, and gaming tournaments. The highlight for many was “Orlandia,” an interactive storyline, where attendees participated in a unique, narrative-driven experience throughout the weekend.
Rate the Con
Our new thing for 2024 is to ask our readers to take a poll on some basic components of the con. We want to know how you rate the parking, the vendors and the food. The poll closes after 30 days and we will use this as a baseline for next years convention. We hope to eventually have a rating system set up for many of the conventions.

AFO also hosted various industry guests, voice actors, and artists, providing fans with the opportunity to meet and interact with their favorite creators. This years guests included Howard Wang and Tiana Camacho from “Jojo’s Bizarre Adventure: Stone Ocean”. They also played host to music artists Azazus and Gross Angel. Exciting activities included the Idol Dance Duo Project AppleVerse and the Sweet Tooth Maid Cafe.
The event was well-organized and community-focused, making it a must-attend for anime enthusiasts in the region. Be sure to check out next year’s event which will be held June 20-22, 2025.
