AJ Mendez Brooks is known as three-time WWE Champion AJ Lee, but she is a lot more than that.
She is an animal rescue ambassador for the ASPCA, she works with Girls Make Games which encourages females to pursue science and tech-based careers, she is the wife to the talented former WWE star ’CM Punk,’ and she is an author.
She wrote an inspirational memoir about growing up in a poor, abusive household, and she shares her struggle to fight against stereotypes and societal expectations. The book charts her emotional, physical and mental journey from quiet background character to an empowering superhero.
