August 16th-18th was the weekend for Matsuricon in Columbus, Ohio.
Matsuricon is an annual family-friendly event with a strong focus on anime, manga, and video games. This event started in 2006 with about 300 attendees and has since grown to well over 6,000 attendees annually.
The event was a smash with most attendees, the biggest reported problem being the autograph lines. The event attempted a random drawing instead of having people line up in advance and many were dissatisfied with the results
On-site this year was Mark Dumont, who was generous enough to share his photos with us. Head over to his page to see more.
