Movie News: In Theaters This Week – March 28, 2025

What a weekend for movies! With nearly a dozen new movies out, there are family films, action flicks, thrillers, and more to choose from. This week’s new releases include a new take on a classic children’s book in which a family on an epic road trip that goes hilariously wrong from the very start, a film about the face behind the very first Ronald McDonald House, a drama about a man who adopts a Great Dane that belong to a great friend and mentor, and much, much more!

Alexander and the Terrible, Horrible, No Good, Very Bad Road Trip (PG)

This film follows a Mexican American family who have recently lost their connection to each other and their roots, as they embark on an epic road trip that immediately goes hilariously wrong.
