Movie News: In Theaters This Week – September 13, 2024

This week’s slate of new movies is truly diverse, with quite a variety of domestic and international films to choose from. This week’s new releases include a Japanese anime films about the concierge at a mysterious department store in which the majority of customers are animals, a thriller where a mother is overjoyed to have her daughter returned to her after a near-death experience only to notice changes in her daughter that leave her to believe something dark may have come back when she returned from the brink of death, a comedy about a man who quits his job to care for his ailing grandmother and schemes to win her favor so she might leave her fortune to him when she dies, and much more!

A man investigates diversity, equity, and inclusion practices, exposing absurdities through undercover social experiments.
