Prepare for an exciting look at the Mandalorians throughout Star Wars, from Jango and Boba Fett to Din Djarin and Bo-Katan Kryze. This deluxe edition provides a behind-the-scenes exploration of popular Mandalorian characters from film, television, and more with revealing interview material from the creators of The Mandalorian, Dave Filoni and Jon Favreau, as well as actors Pedro Pascal (Din Djarin), Temuera Morrison (Jango/ older Boba Fett), Katee Sackhoff (Bo-Katan Kryze), Emily Swallow (The Armorer), Daniel Logan (young Boba Fett from the prequel trilogy), and Jeremy Bulloch (Boba Fett from the original trilogy). Also included are indispensable episode guides for The Book of Boba Fett and all three seasons of The Mandalorian.

Mandalorians are stronger together.” — Bo-Katan Kryze

Rejoice, Star Wars fans! A new book is here from the hallowed halls of Titan Comics. Taking a deep dive into the vast and expansive world of The Mandalorian, this is a real page-turner. It is full of stunning visuals, great interviews, and in-depth research. I fervently hope this review will encourage and inspire everyone to add it to their library, so let’s strap on our jet packs and get down to it.

Visuals

These visuals were a delightful combination of behind-the-scenes photos/art and stills from the different media where Mandalorians have shown up over the years. This presents a fun tableau of material that whets the appetite of any Star Wars fan and also offers up a visual spectacle that engages readers’ brains on every page. The best ones are pictures showing how much fun the cast was having on the show’s set.

Interviews

Each interview was well-written and chock full of interesting tidbits from the actors who contributed to building up the world of these badass bounty hunter warriors. It was evident that each interviewer understood their mission and prepared questions that would bring out each actor’s energy about their specific character. Regarding the highlights, everything was fantastic. My favorite was the conversation with the late Jeremy Bulloch. He was the one who started it all, and without his suiting up as Boba Fett back then, we wouldn’t even have this book.

The Hits

The first highlight is the level of dedication that went into producing this book. Compiling all of the information, from the facts and interviews to the episode breakdowns from each season of the show, takes a lot of time and effort. And the second highlight is how much fun this book was to read overall. Even the most casual Star Wars fans will find themselves enraptured when they crack open this tome of Mandalorian lore.

The Misses

If I am being honest, there were no misses of any kind. As someone who appreciates books that offer a further glimpse into an important component of any major franchise, I was thoroughly impressed. While it seems like there is a lot of stuff to weed through in a mere 144 pages, it is not a dull read. Anyone who picks this up will enjoy it the first, second, and third time around.

Overall Assessment:

Your name will be legendary.” — Fennec Shand

Since the first appearance of the iconic form of Boba Fett in 1978, Star Wars has never been the same. Going from a mere side character whose popularity has led to an explosion of interest over the years, this collection from Titan Comics is an absolute must-read for any who wishes to take up the path of The Mandalorian. Make sure to pick a copy and remember…this is the way.
