Ichibancon is a Japanese animation, pop culture, and video game convention held annually in Concord, North Carolina. This four-day cosplay event features a variety of entertainment including concerts, live acts, performers, media guests, DJs, artists, cosplayers and vendors.
This year the event runs two consecutive weekends. January 4-7 and January 11-14.
Guests over the first weekend included voice actors Cassandra Lee Morris, Ricco Fajardo, and Zeno Robinson. There is also a lot of things to do such as the Maid Café, A LARPing event and the dances. If you weren’t into any of those then there was artists alley, cosplay shoots, shop at the vendors, or you could just hang out with fellow attendees.
