New York Comic Con is an annual fan convention held at the Jacob K. Javits Convention Center. The first event was held in 2006 and has since grown to be one of North America’s most attended fan conventions.
Every year brings a huge selection of well-known guests from small and large screen, animes, as well as comic artists and writers. The headlining screen guests included a lot of big names such as Chris Evans, Ewan McGregor, David Tennant, Tim Curry, Susan Sarandon, Karen Gillan, Michael Rooker, Sean Gunn, John Carpenter, Zachari Levi, Katee Sachoff, and a LOT more. A few of the names form the world of comics included Rachel Smythe, Jorge Jimenez, Rick Remender, Gerry Duggan, Jenny Frison, Matt Kindt, Zeb Webbs, Ryan Ottley.
And of course, in our books, the stars of the show were the cosplayers. Thanks to Alx Esp, we get to see some of them.
