Northwest Indiana Comic Con (NWI Comic-Con) returned on Saturday, February 11th, to Crown Point, Indiana.
This fun, local event focuses on artists, creators, and local crafters. Special guests include Gene Ha, Art Baltazar, Dr. Christina Blanch, Tim Seeley, Hilary Barta, Jim Terry, and several others.
They also had some great food choices. There was a table doing mac and cheese variants, a coffee bus, and a meat and cheese booth. There was also a vendor selling some great marshmallows and another selling cookies and baked goods. Unfortunately, the mac and cheese sold out long before I was hungry enough to consider looking at food. In fact, I think they sold out before 12:30 pm.
This event has a strong focus on cosplayers with costume contests for the adults and teens, as well as a cosplay parade for the children.
