Many theaters are still not open in the US. Some have had to close again due to health restrictions being put back in place or simply due to a lack of people coming in. While many big-name movies are pushing their release dates back even further, or choosing to premiere overseas first, a number of movies are still determined to make their way to theaters.

Thanksgiving is this week in the US, so there are a couple of mid-week releases in addition to the usual Friday movie releases. This week we have yet another version of Charles Dickens’ A Christmas Carol, a sequel to 2013’s The Croods, a film about the last days of poet Dylan Thomas, a documentary about legendary musician Frank Zappa, and much more!
