1307 – Members of the Knights of Templar are arrested throughout France, imprisoned and tortured by the order of King Philip the Fair of France.
1773 – First Spiral Galaxy Discovered French astronomer, Charles Messier, discovered the Whirlpool Galaxy.
1903 – Victor Herbert’s “Babes in Toyland” premieres in NYC
1958 – The first of a series of books featuring Paddington Bear is published
1983 – Ameritech Mobile Communications, LLC provides cellular mobile phone service to the general public in Chicago. This was the first mobile phone service for public use in the United States.
2005 – Apple introduce new iPod capable of playing video at a resolution of 320×240
